Fernando Peires Alonso, mazatec paintor
Fernando Peres Alanso is a chinantec painter installed for several years in the village of Eloxochitlan in the Sierra Mazateca. Its paintings are representative of Indigenous cultural rebirth in the State of Oaxaca. For the FIPAU (Forum International des Peuples Autochtones) organized in 2006 by the city of Pau (France), he produced a series of painting on the topic of mazatec whistled language.
